Ciao a tutti, hello!

I’m Italian and I have lived in NYC since 2007, when I moved here together with my husband.

I had never thought about becaming a “blogger” until my friend Elena encouraged me to write one, in 2009.

I’ve now finally decided to write in English too after all my American friends kept asking for… I hope you all can understand my “English as a second language”

My husband, Luca, and I moved to NYC to pursue our dreams. We’re both actors. He’s also a singer, a chef and on Sept 2011 he opened his own pizzeria in Brooklyn.

Whenever a friend, or friends of friends, was planning to visit New York, they used to send me emails with any kind of question about where to go, where to eat, what to do… I always did my best to reply because I love New York and I’m still in love with the city, more and more everyday.

“Vivere New York” in Italian means “getting the real New York experience”.

This blog is not a simple list of things to see, visit or do but it’s a sort of “open diary” from a “foreign insider”… welcome on board!
